PIEDMONT TRIAD, NC, May 27, 2026 – Below are the statistics presented at the May 26, 2026, Airport Authority Board Meeting.
- Passengers were down .6% in April over April 2025 and down 2% year to date.
- Cargo was up 2% in April over April 2025 and up 7% year to date.
- Total scheduled departing seats for June 2026 are down 3% over June 2025.
- Load factor, the average percentage of airplane seats departing from PTI that were filled with passengers, for February 2026 was 73% down 4 points from February 2025.
The Piedmont Triad International Airport is owned, operated, and managed by the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority. The Airport Authority is governed by a board of directors representing three cities, Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem, and two counties, Forsyth and Guilford. The Airport, located off Bryan Boulevard, is the center of North Carolina Aerospace.
