Tours

The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority offers guided tours of the airport for those interested in learning more about our facility. The tours last approximately one hour and involve a lot of walking. The tour begins at the Airport Authority office in the center of the departure level and includes watching ground procedures such as baggage loading, refueling, jetway arrivals and push-backs, and aircraft landings and takeoffs from the Airport Observation Room.

The tour includes the baggage claim area, transportation service, and visitor information on the arrival level. Tours can be arranged for groups of at least 10 persons but not more than 20.
