PIEDMONT TRIAD, NC, December 17, 2025 – Below are the statistics presented at the December 16, 2025, Airport Authority Board Meeting.
- Passengers were down 4% over 2024 and up 4% year to date.
- Cargo was down 13% over 2024 and down 9% year to date.
- Total scheduled departing seats for January 2026 are up 2% over 2025.
- Load factor, the average percentage of airplane seats departing from PTI that were filled with passengers, for September was 74% down 4 points from September 2024.
The Piedmont Triad International Airport is owned, operated, and managed by the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority. The Airport Authority is governed by a board of directors representing three cities, Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem, and two counties, Forsyth and Guilford. The Airport, located off Bryan Boulevard, is the center of North Carolina Aerospace.
