Marshall Facility Construction: Marshall is close to completion. The three bays closest to the taxiway are expected to be completed in April. The contractors are doing some touch up, punchlist, concrete work, and other minor things to get it wrapped up. The last three bays will be completed in the next month (May) and the paint facility will be completed in June/July.
Crossfield Taxiway Project: The Phase 3 contractor has completed all the asphalt work, including the portion that ties into Marshall’s apron. They are working on coring out all the electrical cans for the taxiway lights. The contractors are finishing up the marking for the taxiway to the taxiway bridge. Depending on the weather, this project should be completed within the next one to two months.
Line-of-Sight Clearing Project: The contractor is continuing to work on cutting down the hill, which was blocking the line of sight to Taxiway E from the control tower, and is moving that material under Taxiway E and embanking it for future aviation projects. The contractor has completed the embankment for Worldwide Drive.
Taxiway D Reconstruction Phase 1: The contractors are working on the Phase 1 Reconstruction and installing a new Taxiway Connector D2. The contractor is cutting out the pavement box and shoulders for the new taxiway connector. The Phase 1 work should be completed by July 2025. The Phase 2 of the project should start as soon as Phase 1 is completed.
