On Saturday, September 28th, PTI Airport hosted a special event in partnership with The Arc of North Carolina and Delta Airlines as part of the “Wings for All” initiative. This program is dedicated to making air travel more accessible for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event offered a unique experience, allowing participants to practice navigating the airport environment. Attendees engaged in activities to familiarize them with the travel process, including check-in, security procedures, and boarding. This hands-on approach aimed to reduce anxiety and build confidence in air travel.
