September 4, 2012 – Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI) announced today PTI Fast Pass, a new express parking service for frequent travelers. PTI Fast Pass is available for garage and long-term parking lots and offers no ticket entry and exit, exclusive drive through Fast Pass express lanes and automatic payment with e-mail receipts.
“The service is the latest amenity to be offered at PTI as part of our ongoing terminal improvement projects to make traveling from PTI easier and more convenient,” says Kevin Baker, PTI executive director.
The Fast Pass program works by scanning a special decal placed on a vehicle’s front windshield. As the vehicle passes through the Fast Pass express lane, the decal is scanned by a special decal reader that records entry and exit at PTI garage and long-term parking areas. All parking fees are automatically charged to the member’s credit card from PTI’s secure site and will appear on a monthly statement. Members will also receive a receipt via e-mail for each parking charge for expense report reimbursements.
