PIEDMONT TRIAD, NC, September 26, 2025 – Below are the statistics presented at the September 25, 2025, Airport Authority Board Meeting.
- Passengers were up 4% over 2024 and up 4% year to date.
- Cargo was down 14% over 2024 and down 9% year to date.
- Total scheduled departing seats for October 2025 are up 15% over 2024.
- Load factor, the average percentage of airplane seats departing from PTI that were filled with passengers, was 83% for June 2025. The June 2025 load factor was 4 points lower than June 2024.
The Piedmont Triad International Airport is owned, operated, and managed by the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority. The Airport Authority is governed by a board of directors representing three cities, Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem, and two counties, Forsyth and Guilford. The Airport, located off Bryan Boulevard, is the center of North Carolina Aerospace.
