PIEDMONT TRIAD, NC, September 24, 2024 – Below are the statistics presented at the September 24, 2024 Airport Authority Board Meeting.
- Passengers were up 9% over August of 2023 and up 14% year to date.
- Cargo was down 37% over August of 2023 and down 32% year to date.
- Total scheduled departing seats for November are up 4%.
- Load factor, the average percentage of airplane seats departing from PTI that were filled with passengers, was 87% over June of 2023. The June 2024 load factor was up 4 points higher than June 2023.
The Piedmont Triad International Airport is owned, operated, and managed by the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority. The Airport Authority is governed by a board of directors representing three cities, Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem, and two counties Forsyth, and Guilford.
