A Full Scale Emergency Exercise will be conducted at the Piedmont Triad International Airport on Wednesday, April 25th at 9:00 a.m. This exercise is required by the Federal Aviation Administration to be held every three years.

The exercise is a joint training session involving all the departments of the Airport Authority, Airport Tenants, Guilford County Fire Departments, Guilford County Emergency Management Services, Guilford County Sheriff’s Department, City of Greensboro Police and Fire Departments, North Carolina Highway Patrol, and other mutual aid organizations.

This exercise is designed to reinforce training tactics used during firefighting, rescue and security operations. This training will prepare everyone to perform their duties as a team under true emergency conditions.
