Parking Options

At Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI), parking makes getting to your destination easier. Our multi-level parking garage features 2,000 parking spaces and is located across from the terminal building to get you on your way quickly. Surface lots for long-term parking are also located across from the terminal building. Parking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Premium Deck Parking

The premium deck is located approximately 40 yards across from the terminal on the top level of garage. The entrance is located on the departure level across from the terminal building. Clearance is 7 feet.

Additional Information

  • $15.00 per 24 hours (major credit cards accepted)
  • Long-term garage prorated rates: 1 hour = $3.00, 2 hours = $6.00, 3 hours = $9.00, 4 hours = $12.00, 5 hours = $15.00.
  • Maximum daily charge is $15.00
  • No shuttle is provided to or from the garage. If you are parked in the garage and arrive late in the evening to PTI, call Airport Communications at 336-665-5642 or use the courtesy phones located in each bag claim area to request an escort to your vehicle.
Central Garage Parking

The central garage, levels 3-1, is located approximately 40 yards across from the terminal. The entrance is located across from the arrivals level across from the terminal building. Clearance is 7 feet.

EV Charging Stations

Electric Vehicle charging stations are available on Level 2 and Level 1 of the Central Garage (4 units on each level). There is no extra charge to use the EV Chargers. The Power Post chargers – Level 1 Units work with all current electric vehicles.

Economy Parking Lots

The Economy parking lots are located on both sides of the parking garage.

  • $10.00 per 24 hours (major credit cards accepted)
  • Long-term lot prorated rates: 1 hour = $2.00, 2 hours = $4.00, 3 hours = $6.00, 4 hours = $8.00, 5 hours = $10.00.
  • Maximum daily charge is $10.00
  • Free shuttle service is available to and from the terminal 24 hours a day at 10 to 20 minute intervals
  • Shuttle buses are handicap-lift equipped
Short-Term Parking - no cell phone lot

Short-term parking is available in front of the building on both departure and arrival levels and is Pay-by-Plate at the pay station for up to four hours. Pay stations are located on the departure level outside of doors #1, 2, 5, and 6, and on arrival level outside of doors #1, 2, 6, and 7.

  • 30 minutes=$1.00 ,1 hour = $2.00, 1.5 hours = $3.00, 2 hours=$4.00, 2.5 hours = $5.00, 3 hours = $6.00, 3.5 hours=$7.00,4 hours=$8.00
  • Pay stations accept only debit and credit card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Wallet.
  • The Cash to Card machine is located on the departure level, beside the center escalator.
  • You must have your license plate number available to pay at any of the pay stations (Hint: Take a photo of your vehicle’s license plate on your cell phone so you’ll have it available for Pay-by-Plate parking payment.).

Please do not leave your vehicle in a short-term space for more than 4 hours.

Executive Parking

Executive parking is not available at this time.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped spaces are provided throughout the facility on both levels, including short-term, Premier Deck, Central Decks, and Economy Lots. Shuttle buses to and from the Economy Lots and short-term parking areas are handicap-lift equipped. There is no shuttle service in the Premier Deck and Central Decks due to height restrictions.

Employee Parking

Employee parking passes are issued to current airline or airport tenant employees only. One pass is provided per employee and you must show a current valid company ID. All airline employees NOT BASED at PTI MUST HAVE the following: “CREW” on their badge, the SIDA badge from the airport they are based out of, and a current local driver’s license. We no longer issue parking passes to non-crew, retired or non-local full-time residents.

  • Employee parking passes are issued seven days per week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the parking offices located on the top level of the parking garage.
  • Employee parking is $225.00 per year for airline employees not based at PTI. On July 1 of each year the price decreases to $112.50 for the remainder of the year.
  • Employee parking for local PTI employees is $150.00 per year and decreases to $75.00 on July 1 for the remainder of the year.
  • The replacement cost for lost cards and hangers is at the same rate as the purchase price depending on if you are a local employee or flight crew member.
  • Please make sure to bring your employee ID and payment in the form of either credit card, cash or check when coming to purchase a pass.

Please bring all of the above listed required IDs along with a photocopy of your vehicle license tag for the application form, your old access card and hanger, and payment of either cash, credit card or check when coming to purchase your pass.

How to pay

  • For your convenience, PTI offers an online payment portal as well as a Pay-By-Phone option accepting Visa, MasterCard and American Express to pay citations.
  • To pay for a parking citation through the online payment portal, you can search by Ticket Number or License Plate, which can be found on the original ticket at https://www.tocite.net/piedmontairport/portal

Payment Options for Parking

We offer convenient ways to pay for parking at PTI:

  • Pay at a kiosk inside the terminal before heading to your car. Kiosks are located at the top of the north and south escalators and in the north and south baggage claim areas. Once payment is made, the gate will recognize your vehicle and automatically let you out.
  • Pay at a parking lot pay station when leaving.
  • Prefer human assistance? Visit the booth to pay with a live cashier.

Please note: Parking fees cannot be paid in advance.

FAQS FOR PARKING

How far in advance can I pre-book parking? 

You may book your parking as early as six (6) months in advance and as late as 24 hours in advance of your planned arrival date/time. 

How close to my date/time of travel can I pre-book online for parking at PTI?

The system will accept online bookings until 24-hours prior to the expected time of arrival.

Can I book parking online for all PTI parking lots?

No, online booking is only available for the Central Garage and Economy Lots.

I booked online; do I have to go to the parking lot designated in my booking? Do I have a specific reserved spot? 

You may only use the PTI parking lot specified in your online booking. When you book online for any lot, there is not a specific space reserved for you, however, there will always be a space available for you in the lot you booked. 

Can I reserve handicapped parking online?

No, however, handicapped parking is available for holders of valid permits or license plates in all our parking lots. Handicapped parking cannot be reserved.

What methods of payment can I use to pre-book parking online?

VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

When I book online, can I use a debit card?

Yes, you may use a debit card to pay for your online booking if it has the Visa or MasterCard logo and can be used as a credit card.

When I book online will I be charged right away or when I exit the parking lot?

Your credit card will be charged at the time of booking.

Why do I receive and enter a new Verification Code every time I want to log in to my account? 

Multi-step user authentication is an extra layer of security enabled to protect your private information.

How do I know my booking has been accepted?

On completion of the online booking process, you will receive a parking confirmation email at the email address you provided that includes your QR code.

What do I need to bring when using a PTI Parking reservation? 

Please bring your printed Booking Confirmation with the QR code, or have your QR code available on any mobile device.  

Be sure to drive the vehicle with the license plate number you provided with your booking. 

What if my QR code is not recognized at the entry or exit gate of the parking lot after I booked online?

If, upon your arrival at your pre-booked parking lot entrance, the barrier does not rise after presenting your QR code: 

  • DO NOT PRESS THE BUTTON FOR A TICKET. 

Press the intercom button on the parking device for assistance or call PTI Parking Reservations at (743) 281-2671.

At the parking lot exits: Scan your booking confirmation QR code using the Barcode/QR code reader on the exit device. If the barrier does not open, press the intercom button on the parking device for assistance or PTI Parking Reservations at (743) 281-2671.

What happens if I arrive before the entry time I specified when making my online booking? 

The system will recognize your online booking up to two hours in advance of your expected time of arrival and up to two hours following your expected time of arrival. For example, if you booked to arrive at 10 a.m., the system will recognize your booking and allow you to enter the parking lot at any time between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the pre-booked arrival day. 

What if I don’t receive a Parking Confirmation email with my QR code? 

If you completed the online process successfully but did not receive a parking confirmation email with your QR code, please ensure that your email provider is not blocking the email or classifying it as spam.

Is it possible to modify or cancel an online booking? 

Yes, it is possible to change or cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the start of your booking arrival time. To do so, visit the “Manage My Booking” section at accounts.flyfrompti.com

You will need the booking reference number from your booking confirmation and the email address you provided during the booking process to access your booking information. If you decide to extend your online booking, this will be treated as a new booking.

Do I have to pay a fee to change or cancel my booking?

There is no fee for changing or canceling your booking prior to 24 hours of your scheduled arrival time. 

The online booking system won’t work for me, what do I do?

My trip was longer than I anticipated in my online booking. How am I charged for the extra time?

Simply scan your QR code at the exit and your overstay fee will be automatically calculated.
