The holiday spirit is in full swing as the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority hosts its first annual Holiday Decorating Contest and a Scavenger Hunt for passengers to celebrate the season.
Twelve tenants, ranging from airlines to rental car companies, are participating in the Holiday Decorating Contest to create festive displays in the tenants leased space throughout the terminal building. Passengers and employees can vote for their favorite decorations using QR codes or a provided link. Voting closes on December 30th, 2024. The winning tenant will receive a luncheon, a trophy, and recognition for their efforts.
Scavenger Hunt for Passengers and Guests
A holiday-themed scavenger hunt runs until December 31, 2024. Participants can follow clues to discover special locations throughout the airport, each marked with a QR code. Scanning the each QR code gets the participant one entry. A winner will be drawn from all the participants that find all the clues. First prize is a $1,000 travel voucher.
