Piedmont Triad, NC – Despite warnings from a number of larger airports to expect delays clearing TSA security this summer, local airport officials say no anticipated delays are expected at Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI).

According to Kevin Baker, Piedmont Triad Airport Authority executive director, the seasonal increase in travelers this summer should not result in delays at the airport’s TSA check points.

“PTI will continue to be the most convenient and easy to use airport in North Carolina,” says Baker. “We’ve made a number of improvements over the last couple of years including major terminal renovations to make travel easy and improve the customer experience at PTI. We work closely with TSA to make the flying experience as enjoyable as possible.”

Currently PTI offers 52 daily non-stop flights to 13 cities with one-stop connections to 228 U.S. cities
